Gil de Luna, LLC is a boutique CFO consulting firm founded in 2014 by Federico Gil Perez.  Since 2016, we have worked with more than 25 family-owned businesses and 40 Start-Ups. 

As CFO consultants, we advise entrepreneurs on how to successfully grow their businesses. We help with the strategy and execution of family businesses, regardless on what stage they arena,  in achieve growth and success in a healthy financial environment.  

We assist entrepreneurs in the development of business strategies that will increase new revenue streams and enhance productivity through the development of innovative platforms of services and products with financial sense for owners and investors.  

We partner with public and private institutions, foundations, accelerators and professionals to bring the best resources to its customers. 

Federico is the Founder and CFO consultant at the Miami based management consulting firm Gil de Luna LLC. He offers CFO consulting  services for owners of family-owned business and start-ups to help their business reach financials goals and grow.  

He served as VP Finance at Bolton Medical, an innovative U.S. manufacturer of medical devices. As a member of the executive team, he was responsible for the company’s successful growth in the U.S. and its expansion in Europe, Latam and Asia. Previously, he was the corporate finance officer for Spanish affiliates of the Bertelsmann Group. During this time, he was responsible for the successful financial integration of the educational transportation business of Etrasa S.A. in addition to the successful launches of two start-ups, Pixelpark Spain (a company traded on the German Stock Market and co-owned by the PE arm of BBVA), and Grundy-UFA TV Baleares (Co-owned by Pearson TV and UFA).   

Federico is a Licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) through the Pennsylvania State Board of Accountancy, a member of The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and a member of The Pennsylvania Institute of CPAs (PIPCA).   

He participated as a mentor for entrepreneurs at the Start-Up FIU (Florida International University) business accelerator and for graduate students at the College of Business of FIU. 

Federico holds an Executive MBA from FIU Business School, an Executive Certificate in Technology & Value Chain Management from Sloan MIT, an ERASMUS scholarship from the University Nova of Lisbon, Portugal and a Bachelor Degree in Economics from the Business School of the University of Zaragoza, Spain.  

When not in the office, he coaches youth rugby. He lives with his two younger sons, while his eldest son lives and works in Hamburg, Germany.
